I started taking hot yoga classes in Boston in 2000 while recuperating from knee surgery. At that time I was a daily runner, and the recovery kept me off the road for a few weeks. Like so many runners, I rose to the challenge and intensity of the hot yoga class and started a daily practice. My home life was yoga-supportive and so I became a certified 500-hour 26&2 teacher in 2007, trained in Advanced 84 Yoga, Traditional Hatha Yoga, and Inferno Hot Pilates and co-owned two hot yoga studios for six years. I continue to teach in studios all over New England and have been a dedicated and constant student. My practice and teaching have provided a path to healing and growing emotionally and physically for more than twenty years. Without exception I am continually inspired by how much is possible within each of us.
